The recent release list of the Global Poker Index on 26th February 2015 showed Marc Ladouceur drop from the 97th to 121st place with 2133.83 points. He is Canadian and has been in the poker arenas for quite some time. However, he has not been lucky as to clinch the WSOP bracelet, WPT title or the EPT accolade hitherto. However, his resilience in the unprecedented poker games is attributable to his strategic skills that have enabled him to keep earning intermittently in different tournaments. The reason for his dismal ranking is not because of losing but improvements from other players. His resume forms an intriguing piece to read if you treasure the underdogs.

His first significant tournament was in the World Series of Poker in a $1,500 NLHE Event #7placing 249th. His resurgence in the 2011 WSOP’s $10,000 Main Event saw him place 63rd for a generous $130,997. On the same year he appeared in the PokerStars.net European Poker Tour Snowfest in a Main Event scoring a 30th finish to take home €7,500. The next year in 2013, he was at the PokerStars EPT €5,300 Main Event in Prague where he was 81st to get €11,100. He also played many tournaments at the World Series of Poker that year, his notables include the $10,000 Heads-Up NLHE where he was 16th for $26,237, the $1,500 NLHE placing 83rd to earn $4,492 and later in a $2,500 NLHE finishing in the 64th position to get $8,807. Along these tracks, his participation in the PokerStars.com and Monte Carlo Casino EPT Grand Final in a €25,000 High-Roller where he finished in the 15th position to rake in €61,900. More Link
